Wellness and Weight Loss Clinic As we end the year, there is one thing most of us are thinking about, our weight or health. Yes, we all tend to over indulge over the holidays but that’s what the holidays are for right? And as long as we don’t indulge too much or slack on our exercising on a regular basis, we’ll do fine. But now is time to set those goals and work out a plan to make it happen.

If you’re a new Mom finding the time and energy to exercise takes a lot of effort. But keep in mind that at every stage in life, exercising will boost your stamina and you can include your little ones in your work out. Putting your baby in a sling or a stroller and walking 30 minutes everyday is a great place to start.

Exercising together is an excellent way for a young family to spend quality time. There are plenty of places to hike in our area. Also, going to the park and kicking around a soccer ball is always great fun and exercise. If you have a big enough yard, setting up an obstacle course keeps the kids going. They think it's fun and it really gets out their energy, while getting you in shape!



The bottom line is it’s never too late to get in the best shape of your life. So if you’re in your 20’s or 50’s or somewhere in between, you can start now. As a Wellness Educator, I find that most people are very impatient and want quick results. I always remind them that it took more than 30 days to get in the shape they are in and they are not going to get in shape in that short amount of time either. But seeing some results in the first 30 days is key and that’s why the Transform 30 (T-30) program works and why we recommend it. The most important task in the T-30 program is making life style changes that are easy, simple and that you can incorporate into your busy life.

Boosting our Immune System

Having a healthy immune system is our body’s defense for fighting a cold, flu or a chronic illness. Focusing on eating more whole foods, exercising and drinking more water are all ways to boost your immune system. Don’t forget about our much needed rest, did you know that people who get fewer than 6 hours of sleep have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease? So many of us try to get by on a few hours sleep, but our bodies really needs at least 8 hours to keep us going. Feeling good at any age starts with a healthy immune system!

FREE Wellness Clinics

We are committed to a healthier community and this year we are offering FREE Wellness Clinics every month for our local community. We’ve invited other local health care providers and we’ll be offering Carotid Artery ultrasounds, blood pressure readings, chair massages, a Wellness Educator, T-30 Coach and more.
